Our Services

Empowering Ghanaian Entrepreneurs

We offer a wide range of group loans for cooperatives and individual loans with flexible repayment periods. The organization provides a Vehicle Hire Purchase Scheme enabling drivers to own vehicles, and wholesale lending to microfinance institutions for on-lending to small businesses. We also deliver business training and advisory services to help entrepreneurs manage their operations effectively.

Microcredit Program

To qualify for microcredit, commonly known as "group loans", only applicants that have organized themselves into groups, associations or cooperatives are eligible.

To qualify for small loans, applicants may apply either as individuals, corporate entities, or groups — requiring the facility for a joint or common purpose.

To qualify for vehicle and equipment hire purchase scheme, applicants may apply either as individuals, corporate entities, or groups — requiring the facility for a joint or common purpose.

Microcredit Program

To qualify for microcredit, commonly known as "group loans", only applicants that have organized themselves into groups, associations or cooperatives are eligible.

Such groups should be between five and twenty-five members each. Such groups should preferably have a common production or operational interest.

Eligibility Criteria for MASLOC Loans

  • 01The Group or cooperative society membership must be between 5 and 25 members.
  • 02Individuals in the groups must be between 18 and 65 years and of sound mind.
  • 03The Group shall have common production or operational interest.
  • 04The group shall have its own leaders – mainly the Chairman, the Secretary, the Treasurer and with internal rules and regulations.

Small / Project Loans

To qualify for small loans, applicants may apply either as individuals, corporate entities, or groups, associations or cooperatives – requiring the facility for a joint or common purpose. Applicants with an ongoing economic activity/venture or project shall have an added advantage in securing a small loan from MASLOC.

The full range of eligibility criteria is available at any of our regional offices, or at the Head Office in Accra. In all cases however, applicants shall be of sound mind and between the ages of eighteen (18) and sixty-five (65) years.

  • 01Applicant must be between 18 and 65 years and of sound mind.
  • 02Must have an ongoing business venture or project.
  • 03Must have sound knowledge and considerable experience in the business venture or project.
  • 04Start-up projects or business must be viable and capable of generating employment.
