Madam Clara Dy-Yakah - Director of Administration

Madam Clara Dy-Yakah holds an Executive Masters Certificate in Public Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Kumasi. She also holds a degree in Integrated Development Studies from the University for Development Studies, Wa Campus. In addition to the above, Madam Clara holds a 3-year post Secondary Certificate in French, English Literature and Education from the Mount Mary College in Somanya. Madam Clara worked at the offices of Ghana’s parliament for two years before moving back to Wa, where she joined the Ministry of Local Government as a Municipal Human Resource Manager.

Prior to her transition into the Head of Administration role at MASLOC, she worked within the banking sector for seven years as an operations manager and Supervisor and oversaw various laudable projects in the Northern Region and was the main player in educating internal employees on the build-up, use and understanding of various banking systems before signing these off for interface with external customers, and would be instrumental in the restructuring of various teams, and the deployment of various social responsibility mandates within the community.

Her down-time is spent reading good books such as Sydney Sheldon and Jackie Collins, and listening to Jazz, and Hi-life music. Madam Clara is a big fan of Amakye Dede.


Fadatoyo Imoro Abudu - Director of Finance

Mr. Fadatoyo Imoru Abudu was appointed Head of Finance of MASLOC in August 2020. He is a Chartered Accountant with many years of experience.

 

He began his career at Architectural and Engineering Services Ltd as an Assistant Accountant and rose to the position of Deputy Head of Finance before joining MASLOC in 2007. He was posted to Upper East as the Finance and Administrative Officer and was later transferred to the Eastern Region in the same capacity in 2008 where he discharged his responsibilities diligently until 2012. At the regions he was responsible for the finance function as well as administration.

 

He was promoted to Finance Manager Operations and that brought him to the Head Office Accra where he deputized in the absence of the Head of Finance. He supervised all the work in the department including the preparation and presentation of the Financial Statements.

He was elevated to head the Department in August 2020 after the position became vacant due to the resignation of the former Head of Finance.

 

Fadatoyo is a qualified Accountant and a member of ICAG and holds MBA in Accounting and Finance degree from Institute of Professional Studies Accra and Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Auditing from ICAG

 


Patrick Ayittah - Director for Human Resource (HR)

Patrick Ayittah holds a Master’s Programme in Human Resource Management from the Methodist University College (MUCG), Accra-Ghana. He served on several committees within Ghana Union of Professional Students (GUPS) in the 2007-2008 academic year, and later served as its President. Mr. Ayittah was also served as coordinating secretary for National Union of Ghana Students (NUGS) in 2008-2009 academic year. A founding member of DUCTU Africa, (a none Governmental Organization that sees to the development of Africa, youth development and capacity building). He was appointed the Registrar of Jayee University College, Accra, Ghana in 2017, after he has served the same University as a lecturer from 2015.

 

He became a member of the Jayee University Council between 2008 and 2011. Patrick is a staunch believer of the Doctrines of Christ. A trait that led him to establish the Holy Ghost Mission and has since 2010, been the patron of the Campus Christian Fellowship of Jayee University College.

 

Aside the selfless dedication towards students’ leadership, spiritual upliftment and volunteerism, Patrick Ayittah has an enviable employment history that has first and foremost offered him the opportunity to contribute towards Ghana’s positive advancement through the realms of work.

 

He was employed as Human Resource Manager (HRIS) and currently holds the position as the Head of Human Resource for Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC).

Mr. Patrick Ayittah is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Management Programme from the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration (GIMPA).

 

He is a devoted Christian and married.


Samuel Agyei Gyang - Head of Legal

Samuel is currently the Head of Legal at MASLOC. He started his legal practice with Messrs. Zoe, Akyea & Co. in 2010 where he received comprehensive training in courtroom litigation. He handled several corporate and commercial cases in areas such as Contracts, Real Estate, Labour, Debt Recovery, Intellectual Property, etc.

 

He also provided representation in courts for clients in criminal cases, matrimonial causes and related areas such as custody, adoption etc. In spite of his training as a litigator, Samuel was instrumental in the facilitation of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) processes and negotiated out-of-court settlements for numerous clients in appropriate cases..

Prior to joining MASLOC, Samuel transitioned from private legal practice to the corporate world where he was appointed as the Head of Legal at McOttley Holdings Limited in September 2014. At McOttley, he was responsible for the delivery of in-house legal services to accomplish the corporate goals of the Holdings Company and its subsidiaries operating in the microfinance, investment banking and real estate sectors. Samuel has considerable experience working on commercial transactions and consults widely on company registration, due diligence and compliance. He currently serves as company secretary for several companies in Ghana.

 

Samuel holds a qualifying certificate in law from the Ghana School of Law, an LLB (Hons) from the Faculty of Law, University of Ghana, a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Hons) in English with History from the University of Ghana and a Diploma in Public Relations and Advertising from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. He has also undertaken courses and attended trainings in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Anti-Money Laundering and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT), Corporate Governance, Data Protection etc.


Mr. Iddrisu Issah - Head of Credit

 

 

 

Mr. Iddrisu Issah is the Head of Credit at Masloc since August 18, 2022. Iddrisu is a dynamic professional with over 20 years’ experience in the Banking Sector. He started his banking career in 2004 with SunTrust Bank in Atlanta, GA. And prior to joining Masloc in March, 2018 as Zonal Manager, Iddrisu worked with Beige Capital Savings and Loans Ltd and UT Bank Ghana.

Iddrisu holds an Associate degree (Diploma) in Business Administration from Georgia State University – Perimeter College, Dunwoody, GA. Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University, Marietta, GA. MBA Finance option from Argosy University, Atlanta, GA. And MA Brands and Communication from University of Professional Studies (UPSA), Ghana.

He has also perused certificate courses in Risk Management and Agriculture Value Chain Finance, Financial Analysis and using Cash Flow to Facilitate Agribusiness Finance, Executive Certificate in Diplomacy and International Relations, Loan Portfolio Management and an Executive Certificate in Public Procurement.

 


Eleanor J. A. Y Tettey - Head of Business Dev't

 

Eleanor J.A.Y Tettey is a professional in the Financial Institution with a rich background and experience with a BSc from Central University College in Banking and Finance.

Having a decade of Banking experience , she started practicing with Stanbic Bank in 2009 and continued her career after completing her National service with UT Bank , where she worked as a Consumer Finance Officer , a Retail Banker , Business Banker ,Recovery Task Officer and an Enterprise Banker from 2010 - 2018 she later joined GCB Bank’s Syndications and Project Desk in the Corporate Banking Department at their Head Office from 2018 - 2019. She later worked out of the Financial Industry in 2019 where she went into Insurance Sales, Human Resource Management, Real Estate Management and Online Marketing.

She joined The Microfinance and Small Loans Centre in August 2022 as the Head of Business Development where she heads MASLOC's Business Development unit. She deplores her varied skills and experience to raise the Institute’s customer delivery standards.

 


Baba Adam Ziblim - Head of Audit

Mr. Baba Adam Ziblim started his early professional career in the financial sector from the year 1992. He began his career as an accountant and advanced to Chief Treasurer in the Ministry of Communications (MoC) - Ghana.

 

He currently holds the position in MASLOC as the Head of Internal Audit. He holds an EMBA in Finance from GIMPA and MBA (Generic) from Accra Business School.

 

He also has relevant managerial experience in Risk Management and Audit & Assurance.

 

He is married with five children and a Muslim

 


Felix Kwabena Offei - Head of ICT

Felix holds a MBA in Managment Information System from Maastrict School of Management (MSM-AMBA) - Netherlands. A student of Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) with Information System Audit and Control Assurance (ISACA)- Accra Chapter since December 2011. Certificate holder of Big Data in Society and Big Management and Analysis in Linux (Master Level) with Vrije Universiteit (VU Amsterdam Summer School) in July 2019.

 

Felix has a career in the ICT industry for more than twenty years beginning at the Herbako Nutrition Company (2001-2004) where he began his career as a software developer with VB5/6, MS Access and Crystal Reports.

 

He joined the Express Funds Money Transfer Company Limited (now Small World money Transfer) as an assistant IT Manager for four(4) years and gained several IT experiences in online remittance systems (Payex) and also best IT Security Practices. With his experience at Express Funds, he moved to work with Express Savings and Loans Limited as Head of IT from 2008-2011.

 

From 2011, Felix later joined Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) as ICT Consultant and later was positioned as Database Administrator. He assumed the role of Acting Head of ICT in December 2020. He has supported over thirty (30) microfinance companies in Ghana and one(1) oversees with the implementation of Microfinance Management software.
